Reshaping of beach nourishments under high angle of wave incidence i Preface The following report presents the Master of Science Thesis titled " Reshaping Mechanisms of Beach Nourishments under High Angle Wave Conditions " submitted as a partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science (MSc) in Civil Engineering, the main supervision of Ir. Bas Huisman to whom I would like to express my deepest gratitude. I would like to thank him for letting me be part of his PhD research project and specially for trusting his idea in me. As an engineer, it has been an enriching experience to have learned from and with him; I am thankful for his guidance and objective input throughout the entire research process, particularly during the closing phase of my thesis. I would like to thank the head of my thesis committee Prof. Marcel Stive for giving me the opportunity to work in the NEMO project as a student assistant during my complete tenure at TU Delft, also for his research recommendations, and for his support toward the successful culmination of my MSc thesis. I would also like to thank my committee members Ir. Roderik Hoekstra, Dr. Matthieu de Schipper, and Ir. Dirk Rijnsdorp for their interest and feedback.
